Barbara Klein

Project Manager

Barbara is an international scientist, passionate about bringing research ideas to the market. Barbara received her PhD in plant molecular biology in 2019 from Umeå University. Before joining SmiLe she worked as a project manager for biomedical studies in Umeå Biotech Incubator. She also gained experience by acting as a business developer in her own startup. She communicated her research and her business idea at all levels, including the public, managers, investors, clinicians, and experts, both by giving lectures and elevator pitches. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys hiking, outdoor training, and cooking.
