Suturion
Suturion is a medtech company dedicated to support surgeons perform an improved closure of the abdominal wall after open surgery. Our technology does not only increase speed, but also improves quality. The result is significantly saved time, reduced risk of infections, burst abdomen and long-term complications like incisional hernia.
Suturion was founded in 2018 by Swedish trauma surgeon Dr. Gabriel Börner, who wanted to have a solution that could help him do the closure faster, but better. CEO Paan Hermansson has a long experience from launching different medtech technologies across Europe, Middle East and Europe. He is also a passionate mountain biker and finished the world´s toughest MTB race, Absa Cape Epic, in 2021.
